Margaret “Peggy” Farias
President

Peggy Farias, great-great-granddaughter of William and Mary Shipman, joined W.H. Shipman, Limited in 2014. Holding a BA from Harvard University and an MS from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, Peggy is focused on honoring the legacy of her ancestors by building a community and company that future generations will be proud to be part of. Her leadership ensures that policies and projects benefit the company, shareholders, and the local community.

Chief Financial Officer

Haidee Abe has been Chief Financial Officer at W.H. Shipman, Limited since 2018. With over two decades of financial experience, she has held roles at D. Buyers Enterprises and First Hawaiian Bank. Haidee is deeply involved in the community, serving on multiple boards, and her expertise helps guide the company’s financial strategies and long-term success.

Director of Agricultural Operations

Oliver English, great-great-grandson of William and Mary Shipman, has served on the board since 2004. As Director of Agricultural Operations, he oversees daily management of the agriculture department. Oliver focuses on maximizing the effectiveness of agricultural lands and is committed to making the company’s agricultural management the best in the state.
